              About Us

              We are an arts and culture nonprofit community org located in San Marcos. We utilize our platform to inspire river guardianship in our community. Additionally, we produce the Mermaid SPLASH Festival in September. Mermaid Society of Texas is dedicated to helping advance creative ways to promote our city’s culture and the beauty and significance of the San Marcos River for generations to come.
