OSHA Basics for Small Businesses
Every business owner needs to know some basics to be compliant with OSHA's regulations. These include safety plans, safety training, and development of a strong safety culture. There is a lot to cover related to OSHA, and Cassie can’t cover every industry or type of safety policy to consider specifically. She will do her best to answer any questions, and provide you with a new set of tools to protect your business and your employees. To achieve success with this workshop please bring your curiosity and awareness of your business' current safety status. Cassie Alexander has a Master's degree in Chemistry and has worked toward cultivating safer environments throughout her career. She is passionate about helping people avoid the same mistakes she has seen other companies make. She has made it her mission to help individuals and teams transform their relationships with the world around them through safety. She has 11 years of safety experience and spends her free time mastering aerial circus skills. She is referred to lovingly as 'Safety Lady', both around her home and within the spaces she inhabits. She got her start with safety while working in a Chemistry laboratory during college. The number of times she has worked in environments where workplace safety commitment was subpar has influenced her passion and drive for making a difference in this space. With her commitment and your passion for your business the potential exists for the development of a thriving safety culture.
